Raga Todi – played on the Dattatreya Veena by Swami D.R. Parvatikar

Swami D.R. Parvatikar (Dattatreya Rama Rao Parvatikar, 1916-1990) lived in Badrinath, Uttarakhand (Indian Himalayas) which is situated at an altitude of about 3313 metres (10870 feet).

He invented the Dattatreya Veena by blending the Sitar, Swaramandal & Vichitra Veena and was probably the only player of this unique instrument.
