Dire Straits – Brothers In Arms (1985)
This song was inspired by the Falklands War between Argentina and the UK in 1982. Mark Knopfler wrote the song when the war was still raging.
A new version of the track was released in 2007, to mark the 25th anniversary of the war conflict. All proceeds were dedicated to help veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder.
