This song is an instrumental rendition of a traditional South Indian (Carnatic music) devotional composition (in Telugu language) by the 18th-19th century musician Saint Thyagaraja.
It’s played on the Electric Mandolin by U.Srinivas – RIP (1969 – 2014) to the accompaniment of percussion (Mridangam and Ghatam).
The main Raga is Bindumalini with variations in another six Ragas.
