Truckstop by Garrison Keillor is hands-down, one of my favorite stories that he tells about Florian and Myrtle Kresbach and their trip to Minneapolis so that Myrtle can go for a check up even though all the doctors in Lake Wobegon have told her it’s no big deal. It’s just a wonderful wonderful story enjoy.
